[York] what is that?

It is said that the highest degree is 6 C and the lowest is -1C.   -1C!!!!! I cant imagine it before and this is far more than I can accept. Well, they said that it's not the worst and it's only Oct. now. I really really indeed extremely need sunshine to keep me warm and happy. So far, I have been in my room studying Linguistics.



Yes, linguistics and I tried to like it but I found it's hard to fall in love with linguistics. It's so abstruse that ordinary people like me cant understand the true meaning conveyed by the books. Here's what I tried to read this afternoon:

Although it's fun to see and read the sentence described by graphics, it's difficuclt to get through the meaning and Bolinger's theory.



Anyway, I will try everything I can to LOVE and understand it.







btw, I worried about my assignments though I haven't got the topic yet. I read the handbook yesterday and I am really anxious about my writing. They want people to think critically and have innovative thinking and arguement which neither I lack of. And also plagiarism which is seriously viewed in the UK. I took the Plagiarism Awareness Online Tutorial and got the ceritficate. However, I still doubt it that I understand the true meaning of plagiarism and will not get myself into it accidentally or intentionally.
